It is a statistical fact that the fastest and best way to reach your health and fitness goals is to have someone with knowledge and experience to guide you through your health challenges.
The whole body is interconnected. Traditional medicine tends to target one organ, the one with symptoms. Integrated Holistic Care evaluates how organs work together as a system. This approach is very effective at helping patients who
have multiple-organ conditions, or who have unexplained symptoms.
Integrative indicates merging of two or more things. Integrative Holistic Medicine is merging traditional medical treatment with holistic methods and treatment.
This approach allows the doctor to direct treatment towards ongoing problems
and get at the root cause of the problem. Treatment is then directed toward root-cause conditions.
Digestion and Inflammation are addressed first, by diet and supplements. Other chronic problems like arthritis, irritable bowel problems, fatigue, are addressed early in the process.
Dr. Morgan monitors the blood chemistry to measure changes and optimize the treatment plan. We use diet, foods, vitamins, amino acids, fatty acids, herbs, and trace minerals to re-balance the body chemistry and relieve symptoms caused by inflammation.
There are about 70 tests performed on your blood. Dr. Morgan will determine the optimal range for you for each test. The blood cells are replaced regularly and every 120 days there will be a whole new set of cells. This is why repeat testing is important.
These diseases are usually triggered by some attack on the body by bacteria or viruses. These can disrupt the normal response of the immune system and cause it to attack the body’s own normal cells. This in turn causes chronic systemic inflammation which leads to many symptoms that may involve several organ systems.
A healthy immune system has natural killer cells that find and destroy cancer as soon as it begins. Altered immune response and decreased immune activity leads to cancer and many other bad diseases. Chemotherapy and radiation usually damage the immune system and takes away our defenses against all invaders. Support of the immune system and keeping it strong can help the body fight back against cancer while treatment is in process.
Treatment is directed at cleaning the body of as much toxin and damaged tissue as possible, and help the body regenerate better with less inflammation. This is done by changing the diet, adding supplements, and using herbs and other supplements to decrease inflammation. Treatments are added or changed as needed to restore system balance for good health.

Dr. Morgan works as a Holistic Medicine consultant in conjunction with your current health care team and is not considered a replacement for your primary care physician.
